Join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer - AWS Cloud & DevOps. In this remote workengineering position, you will play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high reliability and performance across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for deployment automation.
Automate workflows using Shell and Groovy, with Python or PowerShell as desirable skills.
Manage and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux or BSD systems in production environments.
Ensure robust cloud security using best practices such as SSL/TLS, KMS, IAM, and WAF.
Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
Maintain and scale AWS services including Lambda, CloudFront, EC2, ECS, API Gateway, S3, and OpenSearch.
Administer databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, DynamoDB, and optionally Firestore.
Support Docker-based environments and manage container orchestration with AWS ECS; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
Required Qualifications
3–4+ years of hands-on experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Administrator in cloud environments.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and core services.
Proficient in Terraform and Jenkins for IaC and CI/CD.
Solid experience with Shell and Groovy scripting; Python or PowerShell is a plus.
Advanced administration skills in UNIX/Linux/BSD systems.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VPCs, DNS (Route 53), Security Groups, and Route Tables.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and DynamoDB.
Familiarity with SSL/TLS, IAM roles, and KMS.
Experience with SonarQube and Dependency Track; Nexus is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Kubernetes (K8s).
Familiarity with packaging tools like Maven or npm.
Broader programming knowledge beyond scripting.
Experience with Firestore and additional cloud platforms.
Background in high-traffic web environments.
Experience with additional monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana.
