Join our team as a Machine Learning Platform Engineer at PicCollage, where you will enhance our engineering capabilities with your expertise in machine learning, software engineering, and technology stack management. This remote work-enabled engineering position offers the opportunity to develop and scale high-impact machine learning solutions within a dynamic, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain machine learning platforms and data pipelines, ensuring efficient deployment, scaling, and monitoring of models in production environments.
• Establish robust monitoring systems for deployed models, focusing on key performance metrics.
• Promote and implement software engineering best practices in the context of machine learning to enhance system integration and performance.
• Facilitate collaboration between ML developers and software engineers to ensure optimal performance of ML models in production and seamless integration into applications.
• Drive the automation of machine learning workflows, tools, and processes to accelerate development, evaluation, and integration, enhancing team collaboration and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced programming skills in Python.
• Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure (expertise in at least one required).
• Experience with backend servers and APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or similar.
• Comprehensive understanding of the machine learning workflow from development to deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, and TFX.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and experience with logging frameworks.
• Knowledge of data engineering concepts including ETL pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Ability to integrate and leverage AI tools within various workflows.
