Join Qualysoft as a Cloud Engineer in this exciting remote work eligible engineering position. You will be a pivotal part of our Infrastructure and Operations team, focusing on innovative cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our engineering team to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions.
• Define and document best practices and strategies for application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to enhance their cloud competencies.
• Ensure application performance and scalability, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful system design.
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.
• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications, including large-scale data processing and advanced analytics.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
• Educate teams on new cloud-based initiatives, providing necessary training.
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills to prevent issues before they impact business productivity.
• Plan, configure, deploy, and operate cloud solutions, ensuring performance standards by configuring auto-scaling solutions.
• Automate the build and configuration of IaaS based solutions in Google Cloud Platform.
• Deliver Proof of Concepts for new Solutions on Cloud.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematics.
• 3+ years of experience in architecting, designing, migrating, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms.
• Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework.
• Experience in database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
• Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts.
• Extensive AWS implementation experience across a broad range of AWS services including Docker, Amazon EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, and Amazon DocumentDB.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Scripting capability and the ability to develop AWS environments as code.
• Hands-on AWS experience with at least 3 implementations in an Enterprise scale environment.
• Experience with core AWS platform architecture, including areas such as: Organizations, IAM, EC2, ELB, S3, VPC.
