Job Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer responsible for managing development operations and IT infrastructure to support our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to enable the efficient and automated release of software and firmware updates for our autonomous surface vessels.
• Infrastructure Automation: Utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) techniques to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Implement and manage monitoring systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our applications and infrastructure.
• Cloud Management: Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure) to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and industry standards for our infrastructure and applications.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a combined DevOps and IT role, preferably in a technology-focused company
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and experience with relevant tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to streamline infrastructure and deployment processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions
